Hi everyone....... A lot has changed in my world and in the music world in general. A good time to amp up the KT music merch site. One thing I can be thankful for is that I don't have to navigate the worst aspects of the music business any more. We all know the story....hundred of thousands of artists giving their music away free on streaming platforms and trying to play the few gigs that are left to play. Soaring economy but gig fees not rising. Money changing hands in the hope of paying your way to success . Nah.... Not for me!.......I ain't complaining, I’ve had a blast!....and I continue to make music. I am my own boss and I have arrived at a place where I can choose what I do. Granted, there are less gigs to go around but I am still working in the studio, either on other people's material or my own. I have also moved house which involved dismantling and re-building the studio.

In 2024 we saw the demise of Brambus records.....a label I was signed to for many years out in Europe. Basically the whole place burnt down!

Pretty dramatic end to the CD!

But we did get to play Colne R&B festival again!

I also was invited as a guest, taking part in the theatre show, " Love, death & Rock n' roll" about the life of Wilco Johnson. It was fun joining the cast with other musical warriors, Mark Cole and Stuart Earl, on stage cranking out a couple of Wilko tunes.

Other notable gigs: Playing my home town of Cheltenham at the long standing blues club "Vonnies" to an appreciative home town crowd.

Patsy Gamble, Muddy Manninen and myself reconvened our acoustic project, collectively known as GMT for a gig in Stroud.

My Youtube channel continues to grow. There you can hear some of the music created. Why not take a look and subscribe?https://www.youtube.com/@KeithThompson

Bandcamp is also a good place for steaming and downloads....Music | Keith Thompson (bandcamp.com)

Just for fun I did a few instrumental guitar tracks for the guitar heads. All on my YouTube channel.

All in all pretty healthy activities moving forward. My website continues to be a source of information re various projects and gigs: www.densitymusic.com
